David Cook

About a month ago, David Cook came to Springfield...the tickets sold out in 30 seconds!! The day of the show, a friend called to say that she had an extra ticket--it was only like $18 and we were in the 10th row!! It was pretty awesome!

birthday boy!!

Cooper turned 1 this past weekend. He had a cake with a candle, which he reached over and took a bite of while we were singing to him...

white trash neighbors

This is a house up the street from me and they have no screens in thier windows and thier 2 dogs just run out on the roof!!! I would be scared, but they don't jump....but they run out and bark at people walking down the street....OH MY!!

cats

The cats always feel left out, so I thought I would include a few pics of them...They are cute! Cosmo likes to peek out the back door to keep an eye on the dog and birds...I thought it was pretty cute.

graduation

Cooper graduated from obedience school....he did pretty well, but he was more interested in playing with the other dogs. My mom called him the class clown, but he got a certificate and a box of biscuits.

9-1-1, what's the emergency?

Cooper must have thought there was an emergency, because he got the phone and dialed 9-1-1....oh, yeah, I am sooo not kidding. I was making rice crispy treat suckers shaped like hearts for the kids at school and my hands were covered in cooking spray...I heard some beeps, which meant that he had the phone...usually he dials--532, 777, etc...but then I heard ringing. I went running in and grabbed the phone. As I was hanging it up, I heard "9-1-1, what's the emergency?" My hand was already in motion and I hung up...then about 3 minutes later the springfield police dispatch called me back and said they had a 9-1-1 hang up from my number and wanted to make sure that everything was ok. I told them that my dog dialed it, and then after I hung up, I thought, she probably thinks I am an idiot and telling a story--but it was the truth!!! Maybe he is gifted!!!! Or just an idiot!!!
